Home Groups
HOME GROUPS
Belmont is a large fellowship. The sure way to become more than a face in the crowd and to enjoy the friendship and fellowship that Belmont offers is to join a home group. We encourage everyone who comes to Belmont regularly to join a home group.
Belmont home groups are arranged geographically and meet fortnightly around the city, normally on either Monday or Wednesday evenings. Two groups also meet during the day.
Home groups are the primary place where we grow as Christians and are encouraged and challenged to go deeper in our walk with Jesus. The groups are deliberately kept small (around 10-12 people) so we can get to know one another well and provide mutual support. We study the Bible and learn how to apply what we read to our day-to-day lives and we also spend time praying for our world, our nation, our city, our church, our friends and for one another. From time to time we also meet in regional groups and invite friends and neighbours to social events. Whatever your stage of life or faith, we hope you will join a Belmont home group.
This term we are studying the prophet Isaiah using the Lifebuilder study guide.
