We’re really excited to be able to meet again on a Sunday at Belmont, starting 20th September
We’re encouraging a mix of in-person and online participation. In our church building we’re able to welcome up to 100 people to our ‘COVID-19 Secure’ service, and up to 15 young people in each of our two age group sessions. To give everyone who is a regular at Belmont a chance to be at an in-person service we’re suggesting that you attend once in a month. You will receive an email invitation with details. If this is your first time visiting us and all the seats are gone please contact the office. Newcomers will be given priority.
You can also book as seat through Mychurchsuite (if you have an account).
The in-person service will reflect the content of our online service on our YouTube channel, so whether in-person or online we are sharing together in worship.
What to expect
Booking and Seating
Things will look a little different at Belmont as we seek to follow government guidelines. Seats are limited so we can create a safe and socially distanced experience. You’ll need to reserve one ticket for each person in your household or bubble before coming to Belmont. If you’d like your children to attend the children’s or youth groups then please the appropriate ticket for their age group.
If you do not have access to the internet or a smartphone please call 01392 258029 to book, leaving your telephone number so we can call you back.
To book friends and guests new to church please revisit the booking page and book them separately in their household or bubble so we can arrange seating appropriately. Please only book tickets you will use so someone else doesn’t miss out.
Doors open 20 minutes before the service begins. Please arrive with plenty of time to be seated.
There will be a one-way system in place. Please approach the church from the entrance facing the Triangle Car Park and follow any signage or directions from the stewards. You will also exit via the same doorway. Exit will be overseen by the stewards and service leader.
If you arrive after the service has started, you may not be able to enter.
There are groups for children aged 3 – 14. Please book one ticket for each child.
Ages 3 – 11s Groups (Take Off, Kids4Christ & SOS)
Ages 11 – 14 Groups (School Years 7 – 9 – Gravit8)
Singing out loud together is not currently permitted. There will be music as part of the service, played by a band. We hope you will be able to worship the Lord as you listen to the songs and worship Him in your heart, and meditate on His glory.
Keeping Everyone Safe
When you arrive, the stewards will check you in and show you to your seat without you needing to touch any surfaces.
You must wear a face covering when indoors unless exempt (eg under-11s, other health conditions. Please note that a visor is not regarded as a face covering).
By reserving a ticket you will be participating in the NHS Test and Trace programme.
On arrival at the building you will have the opportunity to sanitise your hands.
If you have been diagnosed with or experienced symptoms of COVID-19 you must not come to Belmont. If you develop COVID-19 symptoms within the following 7 days of attending a service, we ask that you let us know so we can confidentially track if there has been any risk of transmission.
Seating will be arranged in accordance with the latest social distancing guidelines. Households and family units will be able to sit together as a bubble. Please respect those around you by maintaining your distance throughout the service.
We welcome anyone with accessibility requirements and will endeavour to accommodate any needs you may have. Please get in touch prior to your visit so we can make sure the necessary arrangements are made.
